You are the salt of the earth
Welcome to GOSAFO - Ug
Good Salt Foundation-Uganda is a Christian Community Based Organization supporting Orphaned Children and Children with Disabilities (OCCWDs) in Kasese District. Our organization is committed to being a positive influence in the community by promoting Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Social, environmental, and Intellectual wellness of a child.
Good Salt Foundation-Uganda (GOSAFO-UG) draws its name and inspiration from Matthew 5:13, where Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth.” This profound statement guides our mission, purpose and philosophy. At GOSAFOUG, we believe that Jesus didn’t just choose salt as a symbol because of its familiarity as a household necessity, but because of its transformative properties and vital qualities; qualities we strive to reflect in everything we do as we care for and support the highly vulnerable children (Orphans and children with disabilities). Salt is essential for life, and its transformative qualities align closely with our mission and purpose
